Eco Church

All Souls is a registered Eco Church. “The Eco Church NZ Project was established by A Rocha Aotearoa New Zealand as an ecumenical initiative to support church communities across Aotearoa NZ to actively care for God's earth as an integral part of their mission.” (arocha.org.nz).

Primarily, this means that we continue to look for ways to reduce our impact on the environment. Our building was designed with this in mind, including a set of solar panels to reduce our non-renewable energy use, and we are regularly looking at our current processes to see how we can reduce waste.
